Elementary School

Whether you have children now or plan to in the future, they may be able to go to school right on base. From elementary schools to high schools, many bases offer a topnotch education at nationally recognized facilities. If your base doesn’t have a school on base, your children will use the local civilian school system.

Finding good daycare can be a challenge. Finding one that works with their motor skills, cognitive skills, social skills and self-worth while also preparing them for kindergarten is as easy as calling up the on-base Child Development Center.

Airmen, warrior, parent — people wear many hats in the Air Force, and for our parents, we offer before- and after-school care for school-age children. Just drop your kids off on the way to work, and we’ll make sure they get to and from school safe and sound.

Playgrounds
Family time and family support are very important to the Air Force. On most bases around the world, you’ll find playgrounds with swings and climbing toys. It’s not uncommon for kids and parents to make new friends on our playgrounds.

Youth Sports Teams

Just because you’re in the Air Force doesn’t mean your children won’t get to enjoy the camaraderie of team sports. You’ll find basketball, soccer and football teams and leagues on almost every base.
Art Center
Whether it’s woodworking, pottery or painting, the Art Center is where you’ll find everything you and your family need to scratch your creative itch.
