Minimum Education Requirement: Master of Science (MS) in physician assistant studies from an accredited institution or associate’s in physician assistant studies with any bachelor’s degree

Career Tasks
- Exercise autonomy in medical decision-making and provide a broad range of diagnostic and therapeutic services
- Provide a clinical role primarily in family practice, with fellowship opportunities in areas such as orthopedics and emergency medicine
- Deploy to provide medical expertise in wartime, humanitarian and peacekeeping missions
- Practice quality patient care, clinical teaching, patient education, research and leadership activities
