When an Airman is injured or wounded, as a Physical Medicine Specialist, you’ll be there to help them get back on their feet. You’ll work hand in hand with a physical therapist to help people learn and perform exercises to help them recover from muscle and bone problems. From physical therapy to massages to electronic treatments, you’ll play a vital role in helping injured Airmen make a full recovery.

- Assist a physical therapist in the care of patients with muscle and bone problems
- Give physical therapy treatments to relieve pain and restore normal muscle and joint functions
- Assist with evaluations and tests
- Order and store supplies and equipment needed for the physical therapy department
