As an Air Force Orthodontist, you’ll provide that care using the latest equipment and techniques you use in your practice today. What you won’t do is worry about overhead, managing a business or dealing with insurance companies.
Career Tasks
- Examine, diagnose and treat irregularities and malocclusions of teeth and malrelations of jaws
- Direct orthodontic services and interpret radiographs, models and clinical photographs to determine the nature and extent of deficiencies
- Coordinate orthodontic services with other dental and medical services, prepare diagnostic and treatment records and instruct dental officers and technical assistants in orthodontic procedures and techniques
- Provide consultation services
