As a Family Practice Nurse Practitioner, you’ll work with family medicine physicians to care for patients no matter where they may be. You’ll also have the opportunity to continue your training and education, carry your seniority with you wherever you go and be a respected, equal member of the team as an officer in the U.S. Air Force.

Career Tasks

  • Manage all ages of patients from infant to geriatrics
  • Work in collaboration with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to benefit the military population and their beneficiaries
  • Practice as an independent practitioner with a normal caseload of patients with complex multisystem medical issues, as well as routine health maintenance
